- 250mL All purpose flour
- 30mL Sugar
- 10mL baking powder
- 50mL Margarine
- 1 Egg
- 50mL Milk
Topping
- 30mL Brown Sugar
- 2mL Cinnamon
- 25mL Melted Margarine
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking pwoder.
- Cut in Margarine to resemble course oatmeal.
- Beat egg slightly and mix with milk. Stir in dry ingredients.
- Lightly gather dough into a ball, being careful not to overhandle.
- Place dough on lightly floured surface and gently knead 6-8 times.
- Roll out dough into a rectangular shape and brush on, with a pastry brush the 25mL of melted margarine.
- Combined brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the dough.
- Roll up like a jelly roll, starting from the long side. Cut into 6-8 pieces.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for approx. 15 minutes.
