Belgian Waffles

Belgian Waffles

Cooking Principle:

“Cooking with a pour batter and cooking with a waffle maker:”

Ingredients:

  • 1 Egg
  • 250 mL All Purpose Flour
  • 50 mL Margarine melted
  • 300 mL Milk
  • 7 mL Sugar
  • 10 mL Baking Powder

Directions:

  1. Heat waffle iron.
  2. Beat egg until fluffy beat into the remaining ingredients until just smooth.
  3. Pour batter from liquid measuring cup onto centre of hot waffle iron about 50 mLs per side of waffle maker.
  4. Bake until steaming stops about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove waffles carefully and place into a cookie sheet in the over to stay warm.
