Belgian Waffles
Cooking Principle:
“Cooking with a pour batter and cooking with a waffle maker:”
Ingredients:
- 1 Egg
- 250 mL All Purpose Flour
- 50 mL Margarine melted
- 300 mL Milk
- 7 mL Sugar
- 10 mL Baking Powder
Directions:
- Heat waffle iron.
- Beat egg until fluffy beat into the remaining ingredients until just smooth.
- Pour batter from liquid measuring cup onto centre of hot waffle iron about 50 mLs per side of waffle maker.
- Bake until steaming stops about 5 minutes.
- Remove waffles carefully and place into a cookie sheet in the over to stay warm.
