Ingredients:
- 1 medium avocado
- 1 carrot
- Pieces of crab (imitation or real), or a can of tuna, or smoked salmon (tuna should be mixed with 15 mL of mayonnaise and salt)
- Dried Seaweed
- 500 mL Cooked Sushi Rice (375mL dry rice to 560 mL water)
- Wasabi and Soy Sauce to serve
Method:
- Peel avocado, cucumber and carrot and cut into thin strips
- Lay seaweed on bamboo mat and place sticky rice onto seaweed until fully covered and close to the same thickness and flatten with a spoon.
- Place vegetables and meat onto rice about 1/3 of the way and roll up carefully
- Begin rolling by lifting the mat closest to you and slowly rolling, pressing down as you work.
